The first idea was to use a piece of advice my friend told me she would tell her younger self, "Always keep smiling" I had the idea to try and photograph just lips for this image to show a smile, I decided against using it in the end as I didn't feel it was as powerful as some of the other images.

Another image I was debating creating into a final, was a piece of advice about family life, I had not found the perfect quote, and decided against it because family mean so many different things to each person, and I would have to then include a friends image. Although these wouldn't have been bad I didn't feel they work as well with my project, as they were more life lessons and things you should know by instinct, rather than simple pieces of advice, although if I were to further my project I could start to expand into this.

Another idea I had was to represent love, I thought about doing this by writing I love you on a hand, I tried out an example image which I used for my other blog. But to me that didn't fit in with my other postcards well, and I decided not to pursue the idea as a final.
